No matter how big or small is an organization, there is every possibility that some of your best employees might be planning to leave it at the cost of some better opportunity. It’s a very common case that people who are generally considered as one of the best employees of their particular organization may decide at any point to get a new job.

According to one of the recent researches, more than 80% of the people irrespective of their job designation and organization are always in a hunt for a better one.

Now the major concern here for every organization is that how to retain workers who are in search for new jobs?

There is certainly no doubt about the fact that they can actually get hold of such situation by considering the following points to be followed in order to have a positive impact on them;

a. Communication between an employee and management is extremely vital for both parties. Therefore, it would be highly encouraging if the management conducts employee opinion poll on various official matters to get familiar with their views and issues. Only conduction is not important, what actually matters is to give your employee an impression that their opinions and views are highly valuable for your organization. In this way, they will feel part of the team rather part of the family and won’t think that easily of shifting anywhere else.

b. Another thing that can attract even your best worker to switch his/ her job is the interesting benefits being offered by some other organization. In this regard, your organization needs to come out with employee friendly schemes and offers in order to keep their interest alive in their work place and job.

c. If there is a gap between the supervisor and the general staff than it can also be a cause of hurdle for creating such a situation. The supervisor needs to interact with his staff on regular basis in order to get familiar with their problems and any discomfort. This dialogue between workers and supervisors is extremely vital.

d. Treat your workers as humans rather than your servants. There is a huge percentage of employees who change their job solely because of bad treatment by the management.

Follow the above guidelines and keep your staff happy so that they won’t think of switching their job which will not only affect them but your organization as well.
